I might have been a little bored at church on Sunday. So I multitasked during the homily and got a little creative.

Crested fashion

I love a good crest. One party Ivy League prepster, one part stories family, one part nostalgia, I love the pomp and circumstance, the nod to yesterday, and the hope for tomorrow associated with the medallions, patches, and embroidered symbols.

Blazers instantly go from boring to brilliant, polos are transformed from average to awesome; anything adorned with a small crested patch or stitchery is simply beyond.

So you can imagine now why I love these deconstructed blazers from Chanel.
