Alexander McQueen's Spring 2009 is quite interesting. Feminine to the nth degree. Flirty, in a dark, bold manner. Delicate, in a strong, unapologetic presentation. Pale pinks, vibrant yellows, grays, blacks. Natural beauty.
Jackets, leggings, and cocoon dresses. A shift from his traditionally outlandish couture, the tailoring seems a bit toned down. Is this Alexander's contribution to the current economy by creating a commercial collection with mass appeal?
